How did you get into modeling? Who discovered you?
I was vacationing at Disney World with my family when I was scouted by my current manager.

Do you have any old-school models you admired, and looked up to when you were little?
When I was little I dreamed of being a doctor.. I did not know much about the modeling world except in the magazines, but I always admired Linda Evangelista. She's breathtaking in every shot!
Since you are pretty diverse what do you enjoy more fashion or commercial work? What's the difference to you between working in fashion and being more sexy?
That's a tough one - I love both! I love how when you're shooting more editorial work, the whole team can be really creative and play with styling, mood etc. (I can show my edgier side). This year I have significantly branched out into more sexy, lingerie work and I love it. There is something so empowering about embracing yourself fully. Both types of work give a model the ability to show the various sides of herself. So, they bring out different aspects of my personality.
What's the worst/ funniest thing that has ever happened to you on set?
I have been lucky enough to always work with professional people, so no encounters with creepy photographers!
What's your heritage? As we know when I first "stalked" you at a presentation at Pier59 I thought you were Brazilian. Haha I was far off..
I am Indian.
Is modeling something that people support in India?
Yes I feel people have begun to support the industry a lot more and the fashion industry itself has grown so much over the past few years. I have actually just been signed in India and will be spending time over there this summer per their request.

PS Chris Isaak. Wicked Game is probably the best song ever.
Ohh I'd have to agree, I think it was voted sexiest video of 20th Century. Im still looking for a blue eyed girl to shoot a beach video simialr to that... if anyone reading this fits that bill, CALL ME MAYBE? hahah

Sincerity, depth and a sense of humor. And of course he must be charming!
Most romantic experience you ever had?
Last year, my boyfriend and I went to the Bahamas for our one year anniversary.. The rest can be left to your imagination!
What is the dream?
I want to have a presence in every market. I've already worked with well known cosmetic brands such as MAC, and would love to expand and work with Maybelline and L'Oréal as well. I would also love to work with Victoria Secret and Givenchy.
What is your life plan, once modeling is over?
I'm currently an Economics major at Columbia; I plan to get my MBA and work in the field of finance.

What do you do in your free time? Do you have hobbies?
Between work and school I don't really have much free time, but when I do, I love to keep healthy by working out and doing yoga, spend time with friends, and dance anytime I can!
